Activities to Support Mental Health in Sumy
Despite the current circumstances, including anxiety and shelling, it is important to take time for ourselves. In times of war, this can be particularly challenging, but such recharging moments can provide us with strength and energy. To help others effectively, caring for our own mental health is crucial.
In August, the Sumy local branch, in collaboration with psychologists from the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support unit of the Sumy regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, conducted a series of training sessions focused on self-acceptance and self-esteem.
These sessions are held in the open space of the 235 m² Youth Centre in Sumy as part of the School of Awareness project initiated by the Sumy local branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
