In the Mykolaiv region, collaboration with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on the “Raising Awareness of the Risks of Explosive Devices and Promoting Safer Behaviour” initiative has been strengthened

During a working visit to the Mykolaiv region, the Humanitarian Access and Protection Department of the Ukrainian Red Cross met with the Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Mykolaiv region. They discussed strengthening joint efforts in mine action, with a particular focus on planning activities to raise public awareness about the dangers posed by explosive devices.

As part of the meeting, the Ukrainian Red Cross provided sets of information and visual displays titled “Mines and Explosive Devices” to the SES units. These materials will be used during information sessions on mine risk.

Such initiatives are crucial for ensuring public safety and preventing tragedies, as timely information and knowledge can be vital in saving lives.
