Information Session on Mine Risks Held in Kanivske Village, Bilenke Community, Zaporizhzhia Region
A team of instructors from the Zaporizhzhia regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross conducted an information session on mine risks at a social hub in Kanivske village. The villagers were provided with comprehensive details about the various types of explosive devices and guidance on what to do if they encounter one. The instructors demonstrated what different explosive devices could look like and offered recommendations on protecting themselves and their loved ones.
This information session was organized in cooperation with the project ‘Strengthening Humanitarian Response in Low-Income, Remote, and Rural Areas of the Most Affected Regions of Ukraine’, which is part of the ECHO project in the Zaporizhzhia region. It was implemented in partnership with the German Red Cross and with financial support from the European Union.
