The summer camp was held in Chernivtsi

“Communicating with young people, I saw the enthusiasm in their eyes and their motivation to effect change in their communities and move forward! This gives us – volunteers and employees of the Ukrainian Red Cross – an impetus to share knowledge and skills with active, like-minded individuals,” shared Kateryna Kovalska, a youth development specialist, reflecting on the Summer Camp.

A regional youth camp, Summer Camp, was recently held in Chernivtsi. It was organised by the Chernivtsi regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross with the support of the Spanish Red Cross.

At the camp, participants:

• got acquainted with proactive and initiative-driven youth;
• participated in sports sessions, including Life Skills, SPRINT, and YABC;
• relaxed and enjoyed their time with fellow young people;
• worked on their own social projects.
