In Kharkiv, volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross have been actively engaged in humanistic education for an extended period, focusing on the comprehensive development of individuals.

In particular, the organisation periodically holds sessions on three main youth initiatives:

  • Life Skills: Teaching skills to cope effectively with daily changes, challenges, and opportunities.
  • YABC (Youth as Agents of Behavioural Change): Promoting a culture of non-violence, peace, and social inclusion.
  • Sprint: Facilitating the creation of mini-projects on social issues, helping young people feel helpful in their communities and understand their potential to impact the world positively.
