Today, 19 August, is World Humanitarian Day

On this day, we honour the courage and dedication of volunteers and humanitarian workers who risk their lives daily to help others.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, despite the ongoing shelling and danger, Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers have continued to provide assistance not only to frontline communities but throughout Ukraine. More than 12.7 million Ukrainians, who have been most affected by the war, have received food parcels, hygiene kits, and other essential services from the Ukrainian Red Cross.

We thank the Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers, staff, and other humanitarian organisations for their unwavering support of Ukrainians during these challenging times.
