The Vinnytsia city branch opens a charity hair salon in collaboration with participants of the Activation Point project
The Vinnytsia city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross is launching a new service: a charity hair salon, in cooperation with the participants of the Activation Point project.
The Activation Point project aims to assist people in finding employment or learning a new profession. Volunteer hairdressers who recently completed their training as part of the project will have the opportunity to practice and enhance their skills at the social hairdressing facility established by the Vinnytsia city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross. They have already provided services to 15 residents of the Vinnytsia Regional Nursing Home for the elderly and people with disabilities.
This community hairdressing facility serves as a training ground for new professionals and a space where elderly individuals, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups can receive grooming services and a sense of care and attention.
