Six mobile health units of the Ukrainian Red Cross are operating in the Ivano-Frankivsk region
The mobile health units of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross are actively working to meet the basic medical needs of the population. In July, these six units made numerous visits, specifically:
- visited 108 villages and towns;
- provided medical consultations to 2,421 people, including 809 internally displaced persons.
During these visits, patients received medical services such as blood pressure, blood saturation, and glucose measurements. Additionally, the teams provide free over-the-counter (OTC) medicines to help stabilise a person’s health and, in cases of urgent conditions, transport individuals to medical facilities.
The Mobile Health Units programme is implemented in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast with the support of the Japanese Red Cross.
