Nearly 2,600 square meters of windows have been restored at five educational institutions and one medical facility in the Zaporizhzhia region

The Zaporizhzhia regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross has restored and installed new windows at several locations: Zaporizhzhia Academic Lyceum No. 23, a pre-school unit of Zaporizka Sich Gymnasium, Matviyivka General Education Sanatorium Boarding School (I-III degrees), Regional Medical Centre for Cardiovascular Diseases, Zaporizhzhia Vocational Trade and Culinary Lyceum, and Khortytsia National Training and Rehabilitation Academy. All these premises had been damaged by shelling and rocket attacks on the region.

According to Viktor Lvov, director of the Zaporizhzhia Vocational Trade and Culinary Lyceum, the number of applicants has increased due to the window restoration work. This improvement allows more students to study in a blended learning environment rather than remotely. Additionally, the new windows will help save energy in the educational buildings, as they are equipped with energy-efficient structures that comply with State Standards of Ukraine.
