Khmelnytskyi Hosts the Region’s First Animals and Safety Seminar

Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross in Kamianets-Podilskyi hosted an event titled “Animals and Safety,” a seminar focused on effective and safe methods of caring for pets without compromising their health. 

At the seminar, participants learned about: 

• how to prepare when adopting an animal from the street or a shelter; 
• how to assist stray animals effectively and what to avoid; 
• what steps to take if there is a risk of an animal attacking a person; 
• the laws regulating the keeping and care of animals. 

The event was beneficial not only for those considering getting a pet but also for current pet owners. 

For your information, the Ukrainian Red Cross in Kamianets-Podilskyi is introducing a new initiative – training the public in first aid for pets. 

Participants will receive certificates upon completion of the training.
