Assisting Firefighters in Extinguishing a Fire in Odesa
Today, an emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Odesa region, in coordination with the State Emergency Service, worked at the scene of a fire in the centre of Odesa. The fire broke out in a three-storey residential building, covering an area of 500 square metres.
The Ukrainian Red Cross volunteers were among the first to arrive at the scene. Together with disaster medicine staff, they were on duty at the emergency site to provide first aid and offer drinking water to the emergency workers.
