Over 8,000 people have been educated on mine risks in the Sumy region
Everyone should know how to act when encountering a mine or another explosive device, as this knowledge can prevent accidents. Therefore, volunteer instructors actively educate residents of the Sumy region about mine risks.
In the first six months of 2024, 15 volunteers from the Mine Risk Unit of the Sumy regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross conducted 726 information sessions. As a result, over 8,000 people participated and gained life-saving knowledge.
We want to remind you that if you see a dangerous object:
- stop;
- do not panic
- do not touch;
- call 101 or 102.
