We presented the concept of a community centre in Dnipro, shared our experience, and discussed pressing issues in the regions
The second meeting of the Eastern Region with international partners took place in Dnipro. This time, approximately 40 representatives of the Red Cross Movement gathered to address the most important issues.
One of the most important topics of the meeting was the implementation of the safeguarding project, which is currently being launched in the Eastern region and is planned to be expanded nationwide. The project entails implementing policies based on fundamental human rights principles. The first stage is currently underway, which involves a survey of Ukrainian Red Cross employees on existing mechanisms for preventing, detecting, and addressing violence and underage labour.
The participants of the event, organised by the Eastern Interregional Office, emphasised that such meetings help coordinate and align the efforts of regional branches and international partners to provide quality assistance to Ukrainians.
