In the Chernihiv region, people are informed about the risks of mines
This week, volunteer instructors from the Koriukivka district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross conducted awareness sessions on the risks of mines and explosive remnants of war for farm workers and other government agencies.
During these sessions, the volunteers provided the following information:
- explained what mines and explosive devices are;
- discussed the rules of behaviour in case of encountering dangerous objects;
- identified areas that should be avoided;
- explained safe practices during shelling.
Participants were also informed that there is a high probability of encountering explosive devices, as Ukraine is currently one of the most mined territories in the world.
Please do not neglect the rules of safe behaviour.
