The WASH project ensures an uninterrupted water supply for communities in the Zaporizhzhia region

As part of the WASH project, the organisation provided the Huliaipole city military administration, Novohupalivka village, and the Petro-Mykhailivka village council in the Zaporizhzhia region with materials and equipment to ensure an uninterrupted water supply. Additionally, sets of motor pumps were delivered to the Polohiv District Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. A reliable and uninterrupted water supply is crucial for public safety and health.

The WASH project is an important component of UNICEF’s strategic plan. It contributes to the health and well-being of children and adults by providing essential necessities. The total amount of humanitarian aid provided to the population exceeded UAH 7.6 million.
