The Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Office was opened in Dnipro
From now on, psychological aid will be provided here to residents of the Dnipro region. The Ukrainian Red Cross specialists will conduct individual counselling and group sessions to help people cope with stress and anxiety. The centre will also host support groups for families of military personnel.
So far, two psychologists are working here, but we plan to increase their numbers in the future. Anyone who needs help can apply for free assistance. The specialists will work with both adults and children.
The Centre’s premises were provided by a philanthropist, and the Dnipro regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, in partnership with the Norwegian Red Cross, arranged the facility.
Psychological support will be provided in four rooms: a large room for group sessions, cosy rooms for individual consultations, and a children’s space equipped with toys and furniture to support the youngest citizens.
