Active young people from the Khmelnytskyi region participated in the Ukrainian Red Cross Youth Camp
The Youth Camp provides a space for individuals aged 16 to 35 to engage in meaningful activities: studying, communicating, and sharing experiences. This time, the event was organised by youth development specialists of the Khmelnytskyi regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, together with volunteers of the humanitarian education department, and with the support of the Spanish and Danish Red Crosses.
The event’s agenda spans four days and includes:
- training in first aid skills;
- personal development sessions on “Life skills”;
- participation in the “Youth as Agents of Behavioural Change (YABC)” sessions;
- practical classes on ecology;
- trips to the Dniester, Bakota, and the Khotyn fortress;
- learning about the activities of the Charity Shop;
- meeting new friends and feeling like part of a community of like-minded people.
The Ukrainian Red Cross makes every effort to ensure that Ukrainian youth have enough opportunities for education and self-improvement. After all, socially active youth is a crucial step towards a healthy society!
