The Ukrainian Red Cross continues to expand Active Longevity activities in the Kirovohrad region

Last week, a working meeting was held in the village of Dobrovelychkivka to finalise the renovation of the Active Longevity Club, located on the International Chamber of Commerce premises. 

In the spring of this year, volunteers of the Kirovohrad regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross started conducting activities for senior citizens, including physical activities and art classes. For example, sports equipment was purchased for Nordic walking activities. Through physical exercises, a supportive environment, and communication, participants have the opportunity to improve their physical and mental health. 

The Humanitarian Response project under the Active Longevity programme in the Kirovohrad region is implemented with the financial support of the Swiss Red Cross.
