The Ukrainian Red Cross has opened a psychologist’s counselling room and a play space for children in Lutsk

The activity “Increasing the Adherence of Patients with Drug-Susceptible and Resistant Tuberculosis to Treatment Through Medical and Psychosocial Support” is being implemented as part of the “Sustainable Response to HIV and TB Epidemics in the Context of War and Recovery of Ukraine” project, funded by a grant from the Global Fund.

A large room has special equipment and areas for rest and relaxation. In addition to games and toys, there are materials for children’s creativity. A psychologist assists individuals in finding solutions to problems, improving and restoring their physical and mental health, overcoming depression, building motivation, and establishing relationships with others. The “Sustainable Response to HIV and TB Epidemics in the Context of War and Recovery of Ukraine” project is being implemented in eight regions of Ukraine.
