The Water Rescue Awareness-Raising Event Held in Konotop

At the initiative of the Konotop branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, an awareness-raising event called ‘Water Rescue’ was held at the Kandybyne Pond, one of the city’s popular water bodies     

The large-scale training was organised in collaboration with the Konotop Rescue and Diving Service, the Konotop Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region, the Dog Training Centre of the National Police of Ukraine, and the Youth and Sports Department of the Konotop City Council.   

The event aimed to educate the public about water safety rules and the procedures for administering first aid in drowning incidents.
