Training on the basics of Home-Based Care for social assistants held in Ivano-Frankivsk

The training was conducted by instructors from the Kirovohrad and Donetsk regional branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross. The participants gained useful knowledge and skills that will help them provide daily assistance to lonely elderly people and people with disabilities. Such individuals often require specialised care, including first aid, emotional support, and solving practical household issues. 

Professional development of social assistants and mastering new caregiving methods will help improve the quality of these services. It is worth noting that the Home-Based Care programme is being implemented in the Ivano-Frankivsk region with the support of the Swiss Red Cross.
