This week, the Zaporizhzhia regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross launched the first session at the summer camp
Every day, volunteers from different areas of the organisation will conduct activities for children. The camp’s opening began with a meeting of the Speaking Club. Throughout the week, campers also have the opportunity to participate in a first aid training session, a mine risk awareness session, and psychosocial support activities such as creative arts classes and outdoor games.
Each of these activities aims to help participants spend time with peers in a supportive atmosphere, learn to work in a team, gain useful knowledge and experience that will help them cope better with life’s difficulties in the future, and know how to act in a crisis and where to seek help.
