Since the beginning of 2024, the Ukrainian Red Cross has provided humanitarian aid to more than 30,000 people in the Zakarpattia region

In the Zakarpattia region, the Ukrainian Red Cross operates 13 humanitarian aid distribution points located within city and district organisations. Through these points, the following items have been distributed since the beginning of 2024: 

• more than 7,000 food parcels, 
• more than 4,000 hygiene kits, 
• over 7,000 household items (including sleeping sets, blankets, pillows, bed linen, etc.), 
• over 23,000 items of clothing and footwear. 

The aid is primarily provided to internally displaced persons who have sought refuge in the region since 24 February 2022, as well as vulnerable groups such as people with disabilities and large families.
