First Aid Masterclass Held for Children at Summer Camp in Vyzhnytsia

An instructor from the Vyzhnytsia district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross conducted first aid training for children who are resting in the “Veselka (Rainbow)” summer camp organised by the House of Children and Youth Creativity of the Vyzhnytsia city council. 

The children learned: 

• first aid algorithm; 

• cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques; 

• how to put a person in a restorative lateral position to protect their breathing in a state of unconsciousness; 

• first aid in case of airway obstruction; 

• how to transport injured people; 

• bleeding control techniques. 

We continue to teach children vital skills.
