Assistance to Those Affected in Kharkiv Following the Attack on the City on June 22, 2024
Kharkiv. The city centre. Another Russian air strike on the city. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, there are currently 3 killed and 42 injured, including 2 children.
An emergency response team of the Kharkiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross is working at the scene alongside emergency services.
Volunteers are providing first aid and psychological first aid to those affected. One of the victims with shrapnel wounds was evacuated to a medical facility. Additionally, volunteers conducted door-to-door visits to provide assistance and assess the needs of residents. Four teams are involved in the response.
Rescue operations are ongoing.
