The Ukrainian Red Cross Increases the Number of Operators to Provide Psychosocial Support to the Population of Ukraine

“Can I overcome panic attacks?”

“How can my child keep calm while staying in a shelter?”

“How can I overcome prolonged apathy or anxiety?”

These are just a few of the questions that many people affected by the war in Ukraine may have. Coping with the negative consequences of such events can be challenging alone, and professional support may be necessary.

We would like to remind you that you can seek psychological support by calling the Ukrainian Red Cross national hotline at 0 800 332 656.

To connect with one of our four specialists, press 2 in the menu. Our psychologists provide one-time consultations or short-term support. If they determine that you require longer-term assistance, they will refer you to a psychologist or psychotherapist. The activity is implemented within the framework of the #EU4Health programme with the support of the European Commission.

Working hours of the Ukrainian Red Cross hotline:

Monday to Friday,

09:00 – 18:00.

Calls from Ukrainian mobile operators are free and completely confidential.
