Active Longevity Club of the Ukrainian Red Cross Operates in Chernihiv
It is a safe space for elderly people aimed at maintaining physical and mental health, acquiring new professional and creative skills, and improving their social integration in communities.
Recently, volunteers from the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Unit of the Chernihiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross held a session where participants had the opportunity to play interesting board games to improve their psycho-emotional well-being.
The Clubs’ activities help prevent the social isolation of elderly people in communities, promote their self-actualisation, and teach them essential skills for maintaining their health.
