In Chernihiv, Staff of the Right to Protection Charitable Foundation Received Training in First Aid

Learning first aid skills is an important aspect for everyone, as it helps to save the lives and health of others in crisis situations. 

First aid instructors from the Chernihiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross conducted a 12-hour first aid training session for the staff of the Right to Protection Charitable Foundation. The training covered: 

  • Principles of administering first aid, including situation assessment and the first aid algorithm. 
  • Techniques for placing individuals in the recovery position. 
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for adults, children, and infants. 
  • Use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED). 
  • Actions to take in case of airway obstruction, with a focus on infants and self-help techniques. 
  • Various methods for controlling bleeding. 
  • First aid for wounds, injuries, burns, frostbite, and other emergencies. 

Upon completion of the training, all participants received internationally recognised certificates valid in 191 countries.
