The Ukrainian Red Cross Participated in the Evacuation of Residents from Psychoneurological Boarding Schools in the Kharkiv Region
Currently, 30 people with disabilities from the Kupiansk and Izium districts are being evacuated to a similar facility in the Zakarpattia region. During the relocation, which takes almost a day, the residents are provided with everything they need: food, water, and care.
The evacuation efforts are coordinated by the Zakarpattia regional military administration, JSC Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways), and the Ukrainian Red Cross, in particular, the Kharkiv regional branch. The team from the Zakarpattia regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross also met the evacuees. They provided meals for the people and arranged transportation using seven cars to cover a distance of over 100 kilometres to their accommodation location.
