Safety Sessions Conducted for Volunteers and Staff of the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia Regional Branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross

• Improving and maintaining a common safety culture within the organisation. 

• Basic safety principles. 

• Action protocols for responding to security incidents. 

• Identification of potential threats. 

• Security risk management. 

• Planning of field activities. 

Safety is a crucial aspect of the work carried out by Ukrainian Red Cross staff and volunteers, and the knowledge acquired during the training is highly relevant in the current environment. This is particularly true in the Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia regions, which experience frequent and intense shelling.
