Thirty new specialists have been trained to provide care for lonely elderly people and individuals with disabilities who require external assistance.
During a four-day training course, the participants acquired knowledge and skills in first aid, psychological first aid, and received specialized training in Home-Based Care. This training equipped them to provide comprehensive humanitarian support to their future clients.
In Bukovyna, Ukrainian Red Cross social assistants currently care for over 200 people in 32 settlements of the region. In the Chernivtsi region, the Home-Based Care programme is implemented with the support of the Danish Red Cross.
