Assistance to Those Affected in Myrnohrad
Yesterday evening, on the eve of International Children’s Day, Russia shelled Myrnohrad, Donetsk region, with aerial bombs. The attack hit a residential area of the city. Apartment blocks, cars and an educational institution were damaged. As a result of the shelling, five citizens who were in their homes sustained injuries and shrapnel wounds.
Volunteers of the emergency response team of the Myrnohrad city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross worked at the scene of the emergency, where they administered first aid to 5 victims and provided psychological first aid. Additionally, they assisted in unblocking the door to the apartment of a person with a disability who was trapped in a damaged building and unable to leave.
