In Konotop, Children are Taught Safe Behaviour and First Aid

The Konotop branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, together with the Konotop District Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region, continue to cooperate in the framework of a programme to raise awareness and safety culture among schoolchildren. 

Through the ‘Mobile Safety Classroom’, students acquire important knowledge and skills that can potentially save lives. During the recent session, students at Hruzke school learned about: 

• first aid protocols; 

• water rescue techniques; 

• dangers and precautions related to mine risks.
