Ukrainian Red Cross Specialists Conduct Training on Developing the Emergency Preparedness Plan at the Community Level in the Novoselytsia Urban Territorial Community
The training was attended by teachers responsible for safety in educational institutions of the Novoselytsia urban territorial community, representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the Department of Civil Protection, Emergency Situations and Defence, and Mobilisation of the Population of the Novoselytsia city council. The training covered the following topics:
- general description of threats;
- family emergency response planning;
- threat assessment and determining available response resources;
- creating a risk matrix;
- developing a preparedness plan.
The Danish Red Cross supported the training, which aimed to develop comprehensive plans and establish clear action protocols for coordination among various community components. This initiative seeks to enhance communication effectiveness and provide assistance to individuals during emergencies.
