In Kherson, people aged 60+ received food parcels

Volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross have distributed food parcels from the World Food Programme to Kherson residents. 

Since January 2024, the Ukrainian Red Cross, in collaboration with the World Food Programme, has been providing support to vulnerable individuals in Kherson. This assistance is particularly focused on people over the age of 60 and those with disabilities. 

In May 2024, over 25,000 food parcels were distributed.
