In Poltava, the Ukrainian Red Cross expands cooperation with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine
A trilateral meeting was convened involving the Poltava regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, representatives from the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Poltava region to address issues related to coordinating emergency response activities.
During the meeting, Iryna Pliusnina, the head of the Poltava regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross, and Andrii Khyzhniak, the newly appointed head of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Poltava region, signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation. This memorandum underscores the importance of quick and coordinated actions jointly undertaken by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in response to the challenges faced by emergency services today.
As part of these efforts, first responders have been provided with fully equipped first-aid kits to administer first aid to individuals at the scene of emergencies
