In Kherson and the Village of Bilozerka, Volunteers and Staff of the Ukrainian Red Cross Have Been Trained and Are Now Able to Provide Psychological First Aid to People

The teams of the Bilozerka district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the central district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross in Kherson participated in first aid training, where they received basic knowledge of providing first aid to various categories of people.

Evacuating people from dangerous regions, responding to emergencies, conducting activities to support affected people, and providing necessary information during or after crisis events are among the main tasks of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support team. Currently, the Kherson region is under constant shelling, so it is crucial to provide timely and effective support to those in need.

The knowledge and skills acquired during training are valuable not only during the implementation of activities but also in everyday life. Taking care of oneself enables better assistance to others and enhances resilience to emergencies.
