Volunteers of the Romny City District Branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross Held an Information Session on Mine Risk

The mine risk in Ukraine remains very high. Therefore, it is crucial to educate people about safe actions when detecting mines or other explosive devices, as one of the primary causes of accidents is the absence of clear action protocols. This time, the trainees were volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross Home-Based Care programme, who visit lonely individuals daily to offer assistance with household chores and personal hygiene maintenance.

We remind you that if you come across a dangerous object:

  • Stop.
  • Remain calm; do not panic.
  • Do not touch the object.
  • Call 101 or 102.
