Ongoing Mine Risk Education for Children in Kryvyi Rih

Recently, instructors from the Kryvyi Rih Ukrainian Red Cross organisation conducted two mine risk information sessions in a secure location. The sessions were attended by 7th and 9th-grade students from a local school. 

The mine risk in Ukraine remains very high. Therefore, it is important to inform people, especially children, about safe actions in case of detecting mines or other explosive devices, as one of the main causes of accidents is the lack of clear action protocols. 

Once again, we remind you that if you come across a dangerous object: 

• Stop. 
• Remain calm; do not panic. 
• Do not touch the object. 
• Call 101 or 102. 

Remember, knowing these simple rules can save lives!
