The First Working Meeting of Representatives of the Region and International Partners Held in Dnipro at the Interregional Support Centre for the Eastern Region of the Ukrainian Red Cross
Representatives of the regional branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the eastern region, the International Committee of the Red Cross, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the World Health Organization, as well as the Norwegian, Austrian, German, and Luxembourg Red Crosses convened to discuss joint achievements, plans, and new challenges in responding to emergencies caused by the war in the region.
Yevhen Poliarush, Head of the Interregional Support Centre for the Eastern Regions, stated: ″Currently, it is very important to come together to share positive experiences and develop joint projects. It is necessary to implement initiatives aimed at improving the humanitarian situation and addressing crises in the frontline regions.”
In turn, representatives of the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro regional branches of the Ukrainian Red Cross shared their experiences in addressing today’s challenging issues, including with the support of international partners.
