The Ukrainian Red Cross Teams in the Khmelnytskyi Region Undergo SAF Training

The purpose of the SAF is to ensure that all staff and volunteers are familiar with a common safety culture that will help reduce risks during humanitarian operations and in day-to-day activities. 

The Safer Access Framework (SAF) is a set of measures and strategies that a national society within the humanitarian sector can implement to facilitate access to people and communities in need, build trust in aid providers, and ensure their safety. 

The SAF training session was full of practical examples and strategies that can be readily applied in real-life situations.
