A delegation from the Korean Red Cross, led by President Dr. Chul-Soo Kim, visited Ukraine
Over the course of several days, they had the opportunity to learn more about the activities of the Ukrainian Red Cross and the areas of work during a full-scale war.
As part of the visit, the Korean colleagues met with Mykola Polishchuk, President of the Ukrainian Red Cross; Maksym Dotsenko, Director General of the Ukrainian Red Cross; Ihor Prokopenko, Head of the Kyiv Regional Branch; and Oleksandr Markushyn, Mayor of Irpin.
Representatives of the Korean National Society visited Irpin, Bucha, and Horenka to witness the consequences of the full-scale Russian invasion in the Kyiv region. They learned about the work of the Ukrainian Red Cross in addressing these consequences and gained insight into the activities and projects being implemented in this region.
