On Civil Defence Day, volunteer instructors from the Ukrainian Red Cross conducted an educational session on mine risk for students at a lyceum in Kryvyi Rih.
During the event, instructors and students collaborated to develop an action plan in case of detecting suspicious objects and acquired valuable skills for self-protection. The instructors provided detailed explanations about mines and explosive remnants of war, instructed students on safe behaviour rules, and demonstrated examples of hazardous objects. An important aspect of the event was emphasising the importance of avoiding contact with unfamiliar items.
