Health Consultants of the Ukrainian Red Cross Held an Information Session on Hypertension and Blood Pressure Measurement Techniques for Teachers of Pre-School Educational Institutions in Zhmerynka

During the information session, the participants: 

• learned what hypertension is, its features, and the dangers of high blood pressure; 
• gained knowledge about actions and habits to prevent this disease; 
• acquired skills in measuring blood pressure. 

Hypertension is a cardiovascular disease characterised by a systematic increase in blood pressure, which negatively affects health. However, adopting good habits, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and monitoring blood pressure can help reduce the risk of this disease.
