Psychosocial Support Activities for Affected People Are Currently Underway in Kyiv
Psychosocial support for the population is one of the priority areas of the Ukrainian Red Cross. In times of instability in the context of wartime, the psychological well-being of individuals is affected. Children are particularly vulnerable to stress and changes, making them the primary focus of most psychosocial support activities.
Mental health and psychosocial support specialists of the Ukrainian Red Cross hold events in every district of the capital at the premises of district branch offices of the Ukrainian Red Cross and at the National Specialised Children’s Hospital “Okhmatdyt”. These events aim to provide support for mental health, help individuals understand their emotional states, and teach children various coping mechanisms for stress.
