In Cherkasy, Implementation of Ukrainian Red Cross Project “Reset: Expanding Employment Opportunities” Progresses

Over the past week, the team conducted:

  • Two information sessions for individuals actively seeking employment and registered with the Cherkasy regional employment centre.
  • Two information sessions held in volunteer hubs for internally displaced persons and local residents.
  • A psychosocial support event as part of the project.
  • An information session for the staff of the Cherkasy regional employment centre, including those from the training and recruitment departments working with candidates and employers.

The following courses have also been initiated: pastry chef, manicure master, hairdresser, and English level B2. Those who attended the information sessions and became project participants are currently enrolled in these courses.

It is worth noting that the Ukrainian Red Cross, with the support of the Spanish Red Cross, is offering free assistance to individuals aged 18 to 65 to prepare for employment. Additionally, individuals intending to restore a lost business or start a new one will have the opportunity to receive microgrants.

To participate in the project within the region, please contact the Cherkasy regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross.
