Under the Mission of Charity Motto, the Ukrainian Red Cross Holds Events in Kyiv as Part of the Red Cross Month Campaign
As part of the planned Red Cross Month events dedicated to the 106th anniversary of the Ukrainian Red Cross, the Kyiv city branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross held an information event at the M.M. Hryshko National Botanical Garden. Visitors gained valuable insights, with both children and adults participating in first aid workshops, psychosocial support activities, and mine risk information sessions.
A team of volunteers from the Solomianskyi district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross in Kyiv also held an event at the Syretskyi Park. They organised engaging quests for younger visitors and informative sessions on first aid and psychosocial support for adults. In addition, the partners conducted aqua make-up classes, a Scandinavian walking masterclass, and a quiz by the Kyiv Patrol Police Department; and provided information on rescue operation algorithms, fire safety rules, emergency procedures by the Safety School, and mine danger awareness.
