In Rivne, the Ukrainian Red Cross Holds a Street Event

Volunteers and staff of the Rivne regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross organised events in the city centre to showcase their organisation’s activities, including:

  • Mobile health units, where individuals could consult with doctors on health issues, undergo a thyroid ultrasound, and have an ECG.
  • An emergency response team equipped to handle crises, demonstrating the necessary equipment of specialised vehicles.
  • Psychosocial support for the population, including a creative event for children aimed at improving their psycho-emotional well-being.
  • First aid training, allowing visitors to learn life-saving techniques and practice first aid skills on mannequins.
  • A mine risk awareness session to educate visitors on how to respond in hazardous situations.

Regular partners, including the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Rivne region, training and methodological centres for civil protection and life safety in the Rivne region, and specialists from the ″Our Future″ Charitable Foundation, actively participated in the event.
