Expanding the Team of Mine Risk Educators in the Cherkasy Region
The team of the Cherkasy regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross is expanding. Following the completion of a three-day training course on ″Explosive Ordnance Risk Awareness and Safer Behavior″ in Cherkasy and Zolotonosha districts, three new volunteers have joined the team of instructors.
In early May, representatives from the Kyiv sub-delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine monitored the volunteers’ work and awarded them certificates. The instructors will now disseminate information to the public about safer behaviour and the protocols for handling explosive devices. In today’s context, this knowledge is crucial for saving lives.
