Assistance to People Crossing the Border in the Sumy Region
They cover long distances, often enduring difficult and even dangerous evacuation routes, yet eventually return home. In the Sumy region, volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team met 35 people who were returning to Ukraine. This group included four women with limited mobility, a family with five children (two of whom have cerebral palsy), and an 89-year-old woman facing serious illness.
The volunteers assisted by providing transportation, carrying their belongings, and offering essential psychological support.
